Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler: “Bounty Hunter” in NYC

Teaming up on the red carpet, Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler were cozy as they attended the New York City premiere of “The Bounty Hunter” on Tuesday night (March 16).

Held at New York City’s Ziegfeld Theatre, the former “Friends” star sported a stylish Donna Karan dress as her hunky co-star sported a stylish blue suit.

Meanwhile, Jen recently continued to deny that she’s dating Gerard, telling, “Gerry is lovely, he’s a real nice guy. But it seems I get linked to all my co-stars. There seems to be a formula, if you make a movie together, then you must be dating in real life.”

Miss Aniston continues, “I don’t know who starts those rumors but I’m learning to ignore them.”

As for the pair’s movie, the Andy Tennant directed film will be hitting theaters this Friday (March 19).

Mischa Barton’s Credit Card Declined At Whole Foods

Mischa Barton is broker than Lindsay Lohan. And that’s saying something.

We’ve all known that Mischa hasn’t been able to get any steady work in years, but I didn’t know it was bad that she couldn’t even buy herself some munchies. Mishy is notorious for getting baked up and munching out the past few years. Thus the weight gain, cellulite and loss of jobs.

When she tried to get her eat on a Whole Foods the other night, she got so hungrythat she started eating her pre-made pasta bowl while waiting in line to check out. Bad idea considering when the cashier ran her credit card she got the Big D. DECLINED. FAIL.

She immediately started digging through her purse trying to dig up enough cash, but in the end her friend had to bail her out and pay.

Kate Moss Steps Out for Stella McCartney

Out supporting her gal pal, Kate Moss joined Stella McCartney to check out the launch of her GAP collection in London on Tuesday (March 16).

Held at London’s Porchester Hall, the catwalk beauty smiled it up for photographers while getting a glimpse of Miss McCartney’s latest line.

In related news, Kate has recently pitched in to help out with the effort to curb malaria related illness and death by posing in a dress made of mosquito nets.

Of the effort, she tells, “I was shocked to hear that one child dies from malaria every 30 seconds. The dress incorporates recycled malaria nets and is absolutely gorgeous, I loved wearing it and it’s a great way to raise awareness.”

NAAFA Stands Up For Gabby Sidibe

NAAFA – the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance – is standing up for Gabby Sidibe. A weight loss company targeted Gabby and said she wasn’t healthy and needed to lose weight in order to get more roles in the future. NAAFA has taken an exception to that…

NAAFA says just because you are skinny, doesn’t mean you are healthy. Look at all the thin stars who died from drug overdoses in the last year alone: Brittany Murphy, Heath Ledger, Michael Jackson, Andrew Koenig, Casey Johnson and finally, Corey Haim. They were all very thin and obviosuly unhealthy! I think NAAFA has a great point. From TMZ:

But according to a spokeswoman for NAAFA, being heavy doesn’t always mean being unhealthy. Peggy Howell tells TMZ, “You cannot tell by looking at a person if they are healthy. Fat does not equal disease and thin does not equal healthy.”

Howell also said NAAFA does not encourage people to get fat or stay fat and reminded us, “Achievements come in all sizes.”

I think it’s mean that they targeted Gabby after her success in Precious. Did anyone go after Forest Whitaker when he was heavy after his win? Producers? Directors? I think they were picking on a teenager and they should leave her alone.

Rihanna: Teaming Up with JLS

What’s sure to be a dynami duo, Rihanna will reportedly be teaming up with JLS later this year.

Producer Jay-Z has created a plan to make JLS huge in the states and wants them to join up with some of his best stars that may also include Kanye West and Beyonce.

Rihanna told of the news, “Working with JLS is something that will happen this year. Jay will make stars out of them. He has been a great mentor to me…They can sing, they can dance, they look good, actually they look very good.”

The “Rude Boy” singer also thinks America will love the guys. “America has only had a little taste of them so far, but give it probably as little as 18 months and they could be the most famous band in the world. There is nothing Jay doesn’t know about the music business.”

Will Paula Abdul be Searching for Stars?

Paula Abdul may be back on TV very soon, although definitely not on Dancing with the Stars like it was previously rumored. The choreographer turned singer turned judge is in talks with ABC to be the main character in a remake of the talent show Star Search.

Entertainment Weekly’s TV Guy Michael Ausiello said last night that ABC has offered Abdul a juicy contract in the $1 million range. Although Paula has not said yes officially yet, it is doubtful that she’ll refuse to go back to work with such a generous offer on the table. What’s more, ABC has apparently suggested that Paula will not only be one of the judges but the host of the show.

Raj Patel, author of the new book “The Value of Nothing,” spoke to Stephen Colbert about the hidden costs behind almost everything we consume. Patel suggested that a McDonald’s hamburger should actually cost $200! And why the free market system is hurting nations all over the world. Patel is a British-born American academic, journalist, activist and writer. He’s born to a mother from Kenya and a father from Fiju.

Patel received a B.A in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford unversity and a Masters Degree from the London School of Economics then a PhD in Development Sociology from Cornell University in 2002. As part of his academic training, Patel worked at the World Bank, World Trade Organization and the United Nations. He has since become an outspoken public critic of all of these organizations, and claims to have been tear-gassed on four continents protesting against his former employers.

This is one of Patel’s great quotes: Generosity makes us happiest. We’ll be happier people when we share, not when we impose, but when we learn from one another. Victoria Beckham Jets Off to Nurse David Back to Health

All dressed up for an overseas flight, Victoria Beckham was spotted getting dropped off at LAX Airport on Monday (March 15) ahead of a trip to Europe.

Donning an all-black ensemble, the former Spice Girl make the last-minute travel plans to nurse her husband, David Beckham, back to health.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, Posh’s hubby suffered a major injury while playing for AC Milan against Chievo yesterday, collapsing onto the field in the game’s final minutes.

Since that time, David went to a specialist in Finland today, undergoing successful Achilles tendon surgery.

Making a statement to his fans, Becks told, “I am upset but want to thank everyone for their messages of support. hope to make a swift and full recovery.”
